Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Studied Fine Arts in San Juan, P.R., and Valencia, Spain, earning her degree in Arts. She is now based in Florida, where she continues to develop and share her artistic vision.
In 1980's, Cyra explored wearable art, painting clothing with acrylics in a watercolor technique and creating designs for baby appared. While studying at the Inter-American University of Arecibo, she was invited to participate in a film shocasing her fabric painting techniques- an experience that expanded her work into custom leather designs for a boutique in San Juan, P.R.
After dedicating years to raising her two daughters, Cyra returned to her art with renewed passion, embracing multiple mediums including watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, and drawing.
Nature is her most inspiration, with flora, fauna, and the ocean serving as recurring themes in her work.
Her recent paintings present abstract interpretations of Florida's landscapes, Florida's coastal and botanical landscapes, celebrating their vivid colors and textures.
Every artwork is dedicated to her parents, whose love and encouragement nurtured her creativity from childhood.
